OVERVIEW
Polygonal Mind has experienced a great change in the last year. We worked with amazing people inside and outside the office, giving us a lot of experience and variety of knowledge that we can apply to our own creations. Here you have some highlights!
Beat Saber: avatar & environment
The guys at Beat Games reached out to us to create an avatar to their trailer for announcing the Monstercat x Rocket League music pack, so we created an appealing character with all the personality of the game.
Later on the year we also worked on the Green Day music Pack that was announced during the Game Awards.
100 Avatars
Yeti Rush
As a studio we always wanted to develop our own game, and this year, we started to develop it. Yeti Rush is a multiplayer racing mobile game, where it's all about yetis sliding through different maps while eating cookies. We developed the entire game, from scratch to what it's now. We got some help with music, effects and 2D designs. The game has billions of yeti variations, so no player will have the same yeti!

Decentraland
We started to develop for Decentraland a year ago and we already have worked in more than 8 projects, for clients and for ourselves. Here are the best ones so far:
Physera
Recluse
This is a prototype made along with Crescent Moon Games, is a Horror / Sci-Fi game placed in the early 80's with CGS inspired graphics.
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program
This is an exchange program that lasts from 1 to 3 months. It's focused for new proactive entrepreneurs, It's a valuable experience and we encourage you to try it out, because it'll help you to reach new contacts, opportunities, experience and skills.
Daniel went to Slovakia during 1 month to learn from a game development studio: Triple Hill, where he helped with some art consultancy and learned a lot about high-end game development.
Simon came from Denmark for 1 month to learn new techniques and workflow methods used inside the studio while teaching us some code optimization.
EVENTS
APPEAR ON MEDIA
A national spanish television (La 2) came to interview us at the office to discuss about what we do.
We also received a visit from our local TV, Aragon Radio, for game-related development we were doing.
The Blockrunner, one of the most important Blockchain and Metaverse podcast had a session with Daniel to have a talk about these topics.
Decentraland had another session featuring Daniel, where he explains how to make optimized Low-Poly 3D art for this platform.
Discord creation
We made a Discord channel so we could treat with everyone interested in our work in a more efficient way. We think Discord is a great tool for communication and therefore we'll continue working with it, for public discussions and private development.
